2009: A Blue Farewell

It’s an auspicious ending of the year. 2009 ends on a full moon which happens to be a blue moon; a second full moon in the month. Surely this is not a common event nor is it very rare on the celestial scale. But it is an event that asks for celebration, a very unique Esbat celebration; befitting the last one of the year.

I’ll be celebrating this Esbat tonight in addition to counting down with the ball drop for midnight and reflecting on all the events of the passing year.

Merry Meet and Merry Part and Merry Meet Again.
Joyous Salutations and a Happy New Year!

Isabella LeCour
